This six hour course provides law enforcement professionals and civilians with realistic introduction to the use of knives as a tool of defense and as a weapon commonly used by violent offenders.
Core Topics Include:
- Mindset: Developing the mental readiness for close-quarters violence

- Concealment: Understanding how knives are hidden and deployed in real-world encounters

- Violence of Action: The critical role of aggression, speed, and commitment in edged weapon confrontations.

- Targeting the human body.

The goal of this course in not to promote the knife as a primary tool, but to bring clarity to the harsh realities officers and civilians may face during a confrontation.
